No matter what your age, dressing as a Terminator for Halloween will
always get remarks like, "that's so cool!', "how did you do that?" and
"are you a good Terminator or a bad Terminator?.
Your first step is to create a cyborg look
using makeup effects on your face. The easiest option is to use face
painting makeup. Its easy to use, can be as basic or detailed as you
want, is quite durable and comes off with just soap and water.
Also, unlike a Halloween mask, makeup will not obscure your vision.
Using face paint makeup, in just
minutes, you can create a cool looking, two-dimensional
special effect of metallic cyborg parts are
showing through the skin. The
cyborg effect shown below is a basic design that only uses three
different colors of face paint makeup. When using face paint, we've
found that Snazaroo brand is the best and we use it
exclusively.

The following instructions
illustrate a very simple version of a Cyborg. For a much
more detailed version, simply use smaller brushes to paint
on the black and red lines, and take your time.

Step 1 – Using a large
flat brush and silver
face-paint, paint the base of
the mask on one side of the
face. |

Step 2 – With a #3 round
brush and black face-paint,
paint the around the eye and
then paint the basic outlines. |

Step 3 – Continue, adding
the rivets, teeth and some
mechanical looking lines for
even more detail. |

Step 4 – Finally, using a
#3 round brush and burgundy
face-pint, add the outline and
additional accent lines. |
