A great and little used theme for Halloween ...... the Mad Doctor and
his crew! It's a good theme to set up for a garage haunt, a whole evil laboratory can be done.
These costumes will go along with it wonderfully!
The Deranged
Doctor costume is an excellent place to start! I
wouldn't want
this guy cutting me open! Costume includes vinyl smock with buckle
detail, surgeons cap, vinyl mask, stethoscope and surgical gloves. If
you don't mind getting your costume dirty, you can throw fake blood all
over it for a more devious look. Make-up could include a pale face with
dark circles around the eyes like he's done one too many surgeries
today. Make-up could include a pale face with dark circles around the eyes like he's done one too

What Mad Doctor would be
complete without his Nurse?
She has a such a pleasant bedside manner! Better watch out
for that syringe, though, she looks a little moody!
The
Fractured
Nurse costume
includes operating room smock with attached vinyl apron, nurse's cap, syringe
and surgical gloves. It's machine washable but keep in mind that if you hose her down with
fake blood to add some extra gore, it will not wash out.
Make-up
could include a pale face with dark circles around the eyes like she's been on ward duty
far too long. |

Of course, you need a patient, bleeding from the head and in a straight
jacket no less, to compliment the Mad Doctor and Fractured Nurse!
The Bleeding Brain costume includes "straight
jacket," pants, head mask with exposed brain, hair and a built in pump
to add that just operated on look of dripping blood.
Make-up:
We
suggest a slightly blue-pale pallor and dark circles around the eyes.
A pair of Manson or White Out contacts would make an
excellent addition as well. Check out our
Contact Lenses
page for more info and where to buy. |

What would a good doctor and
nurse be without a mental patient to take care of? This guy doesn't look very happy! In
fact, he looks a little tied up at the moment!
The
Happy Hill
Asylum costume
includes pants and "straight jacket". If you can find a
"Hannibal Lector" type face mask or foam ball gag, it goes great with this
costume.
Make-up: We suggest maybe adding some latex wounds to the temples from shock treatment.
Maybe a slightly blue-pale pallor and darkened around the eyes. |

Going
crazy for Halloween was never more fitting! This costume would do well
on it's own or with the doctor and nurse in attendance. You may can purchase
this costume, which includes just the straight
jacket and a face mask. The mask looks like the "Hannibal Lector" mask
so you can't bite anyone. Add your own pants of any color
Use
a little hair spray and make your hair wild, whiten your face, add dark
circles around the eyes. You could also add some crazy contacts and you're all
set to go insane! |
|
Of course, every
Mad Doctor needs the proper set of tools to torture, er, work with! Here's an example of
what you can pick up to go along with the costumes shown above! We suggest a barbed stethoscope, a giant pointy
syringe and, of course, a bone saw! You can add more or less depending on how far you want
to take the look. If you don't mind getting your costume dirty, throw fake blood all over
it as well. |
